For many years now, the construction of roadways in Cameroon is not following up its normal ways. Roadways are as tracks, of about six meters of large, were will pass many cars, moving up and down.
Even pedestrians don’t still have their passage, sidewalks don’t even exist again in constructions of our roads.
Worst again, sellers dispute roadways with cars and motor bikes, on the other side cars are disputing roads with pedestrians, because the roads are too small.
“We don’t even have where to walk. The government will say that he is doing conference on how to avoid road accidents. I said that the only way to avoid road accidents is to construct better roads for towns. Not these tracks that companies come and do to us here and call it road, no”,
severely declared Mustapha Abba a habitant of Ngaoundere.
In Baladji two for example, going to the market is a difficulty because of overcrowding of sellers who occupied roadways. Even motor bikes cannot pass easily, and this is the main cause of accidents in towns.
