They were 26 passengers in the AD 322 AI registration tourist bus, which collided with the 1893696a semi-trailer truck, on the Touboro-Ngaoundere road this Wednesday, January 23, 2018 more precisely in the locality of Docwa near Ngangassaou. 24 people lost their lives in this accident, among which 8 women, 2 infants, 11 men, 3 children.
The bodies of the unlucky ones of this trip were transported to the regional hospital of Ngaoundere where, they were put to the morgue under authorization of the governor of the region.
” We will keep the bodies here with the morgue of the regional hospital of Ngaoundéré until they are identified and their families will be arrested for their burials “,

As soon as peoples arrived, the hospital staff went directly to work, Djérina Gerard, morguier of the said big hospital explains the work :
” Since yesterday that the bodies have arrived, we the staffs are in the oven and the mill. We formalized the bodies yesterday all evening until the late night. And until then we welcome the families of the deceased who come to recognize their victims “.
Of the 26 passengers, two were seriously injured and rushed to the Ngaoundéré Regional Hospital, including Maïmounatou Boubakar, 18, and Habiba Marthe, aged 25, who lost her husband and three children. The driver of the semi-trailer is interned at the Ndokwa health center.
