You have chosen Poli for this week long activities that mark the youth day, what is the meaning of this event for the youth of the nation and those of Poli in particular?
First of all i think it’s an activity of communion with the youth of Poli. But also, it’s an activity of empowering this young people by giving them support information for their harmony and socioeconomic integration. That is why you’re seeing that, there’re many activities of training, capacity building and support giving to the young people in this locality. It is also an historic moment for the celebration of theyouth onzaine. Because as you know, the eleven February is an historic date. And here in Poli, we have this opportunity to materialize this historic event with what we call family meeting between some communities of North West and North region, particularly the Chamba people. Who belong to both of the North and the North West and you know the context. So this meeting is a kind of celebration of the eleven February that wasestablishes to improve the unity of Cameroon, the reunification of Cameroon and the Unity of Cameroon and now the integration of Cameroon. So i think this was a symbolic activity that where organized this year in Poli and I am of this succes considering the emotion that its brings within those two communities which meet themselves after several years of separation without knowing that they’re are brothers and sisters. But now they know that they are brothers and sisters. So the message is that Cameroon is one and indivisible and we shall always promote national unity and national integration.
